Description
This Wilkinson discharge door fusible link is a heat sensitive replacement part for Wilkinson chute discharge doors. It is a Globe Tech style link. During normal use, the link holds the discharge door in its set position. When heat from a fire reaches the rated temperature, the link separates. As a result, the door is released and closes on its own. In this way, the link helps the discharge door act as a fire barrier at the base of the chute.
