This 17 inch chute closer (Model ML36-30) is a heavy-duty gas spring closer for bottom-hinged chute doors. It uses a compression gas spring, sometimes called a hydraulic closure. The gas spring gives a controlled opening force, so it helps larger intake doors that need assistance opening.
Specifications
This closer measures 17.2 inches when extended and 10.2 inches when compressed. It provides 30 lb of pressure. In addition, it uses ball socket end fittings with a spring clip. The closer rod has a black nitride finish, and the steel gas spring is nitride coated for durability.
