This 8 inch closer is a hydraulic door closer for side-hinged chute doors. It also works on some bottom-hinged intake doors. It fits Wilkinson Hi-Rise doors and many other popular garbage and linen chute doors.
How the 8 Inch Closer Works
This is a retracted shaft closure. The shaft retracts 3-1/4 inches as the door moves. As a result, it helps the intake door return to a closed position after use. Moreover, it keeps the door from being left open, which supports building cleanliness and safety.
What Is Included
The kit ships with the hydraulic closer, one (1) Clevis, and one (1) Tinnerman nut and rivet. Therefore, you get the mounting hardware you need to complete the repair. It installs as a direct replacement for a worn or leaking closer.
