Description
This 15×15 side hinged door is a left-hand (SH) intake access door for trash and laundry chutes. Moreover, it arrives ready to install with a self-closing, self-latching design and a keyed-alike cylinder lock. As a result, it gives you secure, quiet, hands-free operation.
Features and Operation
This door operates by hand, closes silently, and closes itself automatically. In addition, it latches itself, and the cylinder locks match each other key for key. Therefore, building staff can manage many doors with just one key.
Construction
Stainless steel with a No. 4 finish gives this door a clean, durable surface. Furthermore, it includes border trim and shows no exposed welds or solder seams. The front uses 20 gauge steel, while the back steps up to a heavier 18 gauge for strength. We build every door in the USA.
Fire Rating and Code Compliance
UL labels and certifies all our doors. Specifically, this door carries a 1.5 hour fire rating with a UL Class B label and a 250°F maximum temperature rise. In addition, our doors meet the latest national building codes, plus NFPA-82 and ASTM standards. Please follow the manufacturer instructions and your local fire code during installation.
